The Sundance Institute and London’s O2 venue announced this week the programme of panels, feature films and short films for the second Sundance London film and music festival. The festival runs from the 25th to the 28th of April at London’s O2. For more information, go here.

Watch the first clip from ‘In Fear’ a horror thriller starring Alice, Iain De Caestecker, Allen Leech and Jemma Powell. The movie will premiere on January 20th in Sundance’s Midnight programme.

E! Online has posted a new ‘Beautiful Creatures’ TV spot and you can watch it here. (I live in France so I can’t see it, if someone can post the video on Youtube or Vimeo, it would be great.) I’ve also added new movie stills and a better quality poster for another Alice’s film ‘In Fear’.

In the supernatural film Beautiful Creatures, a young man falls hard for a girl.

Mind you, she comes from a family of witches, but why should that get in the way of love, right?

In this exclusive first look at an upcoming TV spot for the movie, we not only get a glimpse of what we can expect from director Richard LaGravenese’s adaptation of the best-selling novel, but also a few encouraging words about the flick from some of its stars.

“The door into a new world is going to be opened,” says Emma Thompson, while Jeremy Irons insists audiences will see “a great film, a great story.” Adds Viola Davis, “This is the most beautiful, magical place in the entire world.”

Before attempting to become the next Bella Swan in next month’s “Beautiful Creatures”, British rising star Alice Englert will head to the Sundance Film Festival to give being a scream queen a shot. “In Fear”, the directorial debut of Jeremy Lovering, will premiere in the genre Park City at Midnight lineup, and today we have the first still of Englert looking to live up to the title.

Englert and fellow newcomer Iain De Caestecker play a young couple driving to a music festival and looking for a countryside hotel, but “with hotel signs leading them in circles and darkness falling, they soon become lost in a maze of country roads…and the target of an unknown tormentor.” The film plays out in real time and “hinges on a claustrophobic, unrelentingly tense visual style”, remind us of 2011′s Elizabeth Olsen-starrer “Silent House.” Taking method acting to a whole new level, the director withheld the script from his actors in order to get real scares out of them.

“In Fear” premieres in Park City on January 20th at 11:59 pm.
