Alice and co-star Alden Ehrenreich gave an interesting interview about ‘Beautiful Creatures’. Listen to their interview here.

Although the Twilight saga was done and dusted a few months ago (bar the threats of a spin-off TV series still looming), it seems like Hollywood is not finished with supernatural romances. In fact, 2013 is set to be positively brimming with them.

One of two big franchises hitting the silver screens this year is The Mortal Instruments: A City of Bones; Lily Collins stars as Clary, a girl who discovers she’s a “Shadow Hunter” and is wrapped up in a reluctant love triangle between her human best friend and another Hunter.

Then we’ve got The Host, another Stephenie Meyer creation, where a girl inhabited by a parasitic alien is then split between two hunky humans. Meyer has announced she plans to write a trilogy, so this certainly has the potential to get as weird as Twilight did (werewolf imprinting a half-vampire baby, anyone?).

Just round the corner is the release of Warm Bodies, starring Nicholas Hoult as a zombie who falls for the human girlfriend of one of his victims, and is set to hit screens on February the 1st.

We also spoke to the stars of Beautiful Creatures this week, a film based on the novel of the same name. In this dangerous love affair, Ethan gets more than he bargained for when Lena turns out to be a witch (“Caster”), who is soon to be claimed forever by the Light or the Dark.

Alden Ehrenreich and Alice Englehert told us a little bit more about their characters, if they were aware of the book’s following beforehand and why it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day movie.

E! Online has posted a new ‘Beautiful Creatures’ TV spot and you can watch it here. (I live in France so I can’t see it, if someone can post the video on Youtube or Vimeo, it would be great.) I’ve also added new movie stills and a better quality poster for another Alice’s film ‘In Fear’.

Something wicked beautiful this way comes!

In the supernatural film Beautiful Creatures, a young man falls hard for a girl.

Mind you, she comes from a family of witches, but why should that get in the way of love, right?

In this exclusive first look at an upcoming TV spot for the movie, we not only get a glimpse of what we can expect from director Richard LaGravenese’s adaptation of the best-selling novel, but also a few encouraging words about the flick from some of its stars.

“The door into a new world is going to be opened,” says Emma Thompson, while Jeremy Irons insists audiences will see “a great film, a great story.” Adds Viola Davis, “This is the most beautiful, magical place in the entire world.”

Sounds good to us!

Beautiful Creatures hits theaters Feb. 14.
